Why I returned the DS Lite Opera Browser

I returned the DS Lite Opera Browser today after only a couple days of use. I was generally underwhelmed with the experience. Here are some specifics:
- I thought the scrolling across two screens in different modes was cleverly executed but the screens where simply too small for me to enjoy the surfing experience. Frankly, it gave me headache.
- The navigation and keyboardless input was a foreign way to me. I could have adapted to it over time but, together with the small screen, it was not enjoyable.
- I needed to downgrade my personal network from WPA encryption to WEP encryption to get the browser to work. Admittedly, this is a shortcoming of the hardware, not the browser, but it does make the browser pretty useless around the house. If you only plan on using the DS Lite on the move at public hotspots, this wouldn't matter. I wanted the browser to use at home occasionally. We have a shortage of computers in my house when we have house guests so an extra wireless device would have been useful.
The experience of using the web on two three-inch screens was so jarringly different that I just didn't enjoy it. Even though, I thought the browser was OK - I still didn't enjoy using it. Maybe, I am of a generation that will be unwilling to experience the internet on three inch screens which we carry in our pockets. The mobile revolution might be waiting for a generation change.
